Selection of Subsidized Project Operators

  • - Application of demand institutions with preliminary demand surveys and holding project briefing sessions
  • Subject of Survey: Public libraries under the jurisdiction of metropolitan and provincial governments and offices of education

    Survey period: From October to December of the previous year

    Survey method: Collection and submission of applications from demand libraries from metropolitan cities, provinces, and offices of education

    Survey contents: Project plan for each target library according to the available support

  • - Selection method: Organization and selection of a screening committee composed of both internal and external personnel (review of application documents)
  • 1st document review and 2nd (if necessary) on-site inspections are put forward

Terms of Support

  • - Submission of a commitment to secure the contribution of local expenses according to the matching of the state subsidy rate (50%)
  • - (Type 1) Support for reading aids is limited to assets necessary for the disabled to access information
  • - (Type 2) Submissions of aerial photos for comparison before and after completing ideal environment for use of the disabled, specifications, and estimates
  • ※ Program operating expenses, event support expenses, consumption expenses, etc., which are classified as usual operating costs, are excluded
